After a riveting showcase of 8 digital dance works by dance –makers from South Africa, the DRC, Uganda and Madagascar in the 22nd JOMBA! Contemporary Dance Experience Digital Fringe – three winners were announced.
In the first place from Uganda, Robert Ssempijja with his work The Myth Of Self Isolation, in second Durban-based Sabelo Cele with his work (Rea)-Leaze Chains and in third place Durban-based Pavishen Paideya with his piece Aham – I Am
They received honorariums of R2000, R1500, and R1000 respectively.
