Holy Rosary High School recently hosted a CEO School Sleepout, in order to gain empathy for the homeless and vulnerable communities. Approximately 70 girls gave up their warm beds for a night spent on the cold, hard floor, whilst collecting items for the Impilo Safehouse. The girls were taught how to make beaded bracelets by an Impilo Home representative, where these will be sold to raise funds for the home. The girls also made ‘Praise/Blessing’ blankets, and these will be wrapped around the Home’s vulnerable children. The girls also made sandwiches to donate to those in need, on the streets.
Some of the girls who participated in this worthwhile initiative are show in the photograph.
